Some customers may experience an issue with the playback of recordings after upgrading to the latest versions of Windows 10 2004, 1909, 1903 and 1809.
If you're having playback issues and you're running Windows 1809, 1903, 1909 or the 2004 release version then follow these instructions to update your FTR Player.
For customers upgrading to Windows 10 2004, 1909, 1903 and 1809:

Upgrade to FTR Player 6.5 or current. |
Customers using FTR Gold Recording Suite 6.5x |
Run the patch after running the Windows update. |
Customers using an older version of FTR Player or |
Install the following patch after running the Windows update. |
Silent install instructions
Patches can also be applied silently via the command line using the switch /silent (e.g. [Path]\FTR Gold Patch.exe /silent).
Instructions on how to unzip the patch files
Locate the zipped folder that you want to unzip / extract files from.
Do one of the following:
- To unzip a single file or folder, open the zipped folder, then drag the file or folder from the zipped folder to a new location.
- To unzip all of the contents of the zipped folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
